June 10, 2010 graduated and clueless.com We love the name of this blog, since many of us have felt like that during those first few months (if not years) after graduation. Blogger Jeff Sanders does a nice job with this post, which discusses how he wished he knew about Student of Fortune when he was in college. He calls our business model "fascinating" -- thanks, we think so, too -- and that our tutor gig is great for a beginning entrepreneur, or simply someone looking to make some part-time cash.

May 5, 2010 examiner.com Nice little write up about Student of Fortune by blogger Nikki Tiani who calls the site a "gem." The article focuses on how the site works, and discusses our strict academic honesty policy. We also like how Nikki ends the post, encouraging people to check out the site, and dig up some old homework assignments collecting dust in a three-ring binder or pen drive. "At the very least," she says. "Visit the site for its quirky layout. The cats are funny...." Meow.

October 31, 2009 Pasadena Star-News Business writer Kevin Smith interviews Sean McCleese about his vision of Student of Fortune, and how he hopes the company will earn more for tutors! Yea! The article also features a picture of Sean at the local coffee shop. Cute!

May 21, 2009 Reuters An article written in Reuters focusing on our business, its development, and interviews with our CEO/Founder Sean McCleese. Obviously getting coverage like this was a nice surprise. Though I'm never quite sure how to pronounce "Reuters".

March 4, 2009 Oxy Weekly Sean McCleese getting written up in his alma mater's weekly newspaper. Focusing on Student of Fortune, Sean's reasons for starting the company and his basic academic background. Fun! Also a ridiculous photo of him where he looks like he stuck his finger in an electrical socket.

December 4, 2007 WCPO-TV. A TV spot about how to make money from home, legitimately. Cool beans. We're all about helping college students / grad students earn money and, thus, be able to eat something other than boxed ramen. Or maybe even helping professors or working professionals earn a bit of extra cash from home!

September 17, 2006 Slashdot featured us in a blog post by an anonymous professor who spoke about cheating in college. Remember: We here at Student of Fortune do not officially condone cheating in any way. Although, getting on the front page of Slashdot was pretty neat.
