Selecting an alpha level is an important part of conducting research. The lower your alpha level the less risk you have of making a type I error. However, as risk of making a type I error decreases your risk of making a type II error increases. First, in your own words explain this relationship. Second, is one of the errors more detrimental. Use a real life example to support your conclusion.
