The number of homeschooled children has increased dramatically over the past decade. According to the National Home Education research Institute, there are currently more than 2 million homeschooled students in the U.S., and the numbers are growing at a rate of 5-12% each year (NHERI.org). Why do you think that the homeschool movement is growing so rapidly? Should parents who choose to homeschool (or send their children to private school) have to pay taxes toward public education?                                                                                                                                              

There will be four Discussion Board forums throughout the course. The purpose of Discussion Board forums is to generate interaction among students in regard to relevant current course topics. You are required to post one thread of at least 300 words by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Thursday of the assigned module/week. In addition, you must post at least two 50-word replies by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Monday of the same module/week. For each thread, you should support your assertions with at least one citation in APA format. Each reply should cite at least one source using APA format. Acceptable sources include the textbook, the Bible, and research articles.
