Task Name: Phase 1 Individual Project

Deliverable Length: 10–15 Slides w/ speaker notes, 500–1,250 Words

Research projects are conducted with various methodologies. You will have a choice of 4 research methods to use for your research project. As you prepare for your project, you will soon be asked to choose a research method. To ensure your understanding of these methods, you have been asked to prepare a presentation that explains the following research methods:

•Qualitative

•Quantitative

•Mixed

•Action 

Your presentation should have the following 2 sections:

Part 1: Overview of the 4 methods

•Outline the key characteristics of each research method

•Explain the differences in the 4 methods

•Provide examples of each method. 

Part 2: Include at least 1 example of a research project that you would implement using one of the four research methods.

Your presentation should be 10–15 slides with speaker notes (500–1,200 words)
