Good post! Teachers often prefer teaching at more affluent schools, because these schools have more resources and less challenges. Other issues are that with accountablility for school performance being laid on the teachers, it is easier for teachers to have high test scores for their students in more affluent schools. Students come to school in the kindergardent years more prepared to learn and in better physical health.
