Q:

Dr. Chang just gave a STAT260 midterm test last week. There were 35 students who wrote the test. She calculated and found that the class average was 65 and standard deviation was 10. However, one week later, she got two students requesting remarking their tests. She made the following corrections: one student from 70 to 75, while the other from 82 to 77. Dr. Chang just wonders what the new standard deviation is. Can you help her figure it out? Is it bigger than 10? Show all your work .
