  • In most companies, IT staff members need to know something about everything. What analysis would you make if a client said that the reports were taking too long to run?
  • How do 3NF and 1NF compare and contrast in very large database (VLDB)? What advantages does the 3NF design have for a VLDB?
  • How would you keep 3 distribution center databases from growing into a VLDB while also giving the headquarters the ability to create a very large data warehouse (VLDW) over the next 2 years if it is needed?
  • What changes, if any, could be made to the indices that you propose for tables in 3NF?
