Read more on how this works.Q:I need to submit a proposal for a new van with a hoist for wheel chairs. the older van didn't have this feature, needs to be traded in. The residents with wheel chairs had to rely on their familys to transport them, which was inconvenient at times or they missed out on the outing. It is a community service organisation and is funded mainly by DSQ(disability services queensland).
This Item would come under the capital expenditure and a proposal for the purchase of the van would need to be supported by detailed purchase justification.
How will the resource proposal take account of client and stakeholder needs, organisational objectives and operational plans?
In some cases it might be necessary to make variations to operationsl plans in order to fit resource availability. Under what circumstances might this occur and with whom would such negotiations be conducted?
Write and format a purchase proposal. Conduct a feasibility study. Determine the funding sources that might be utilised, purchase arrangement eg, lease, purchase-pay up front, long term payment options ect, the costs of the outlay, explain how the equipmint will help address organisational needs-will benifit clients(cost /benefit study),the risks involved in the ppurchase, the risks involved in not making the purchase. Due on the 6/11/09.
