Q:Need a response for the following answer.
Wikis used at the business level, are used solely as quick facts. Such as the IT department posting "how to instructions" to reduce the level of calls they receive. In a business, wiki's can help improve the productivity and efficiency of its employees.
In order to avoid getting improper information from a wiki, resrictions could be placed on who could update and post them. Unlike wikipedia, where anyone can post real and bogus facts, a wiki with restricted posting access would reduce the risk of false information being posted. In part because you would know who is posting the information. Take the IT department for example, I would read their wiki's with confidence because i know they know how to fix the issues i might be experiencing
