Q:
Greetings, All!
When I taught high school for two years, I repeatedly encountered students using too much white space in order to water down their words to meet my page requirements (as if writing a 1 page literary essay on Arthur Miller’s The Crucible was difficult!) On the other hand, you will be using white space for particular and very effective purposes. According to the text, “White space invites your readers into the text and helps the audience focus on the indented points you want to emphasize” (pg. 258) Moreover, whitespace is a clean cut look.
Class: How will using white space in your manual make it a more legitimate and concise technical document?
