1. CheckPoint: E-Mail Etiquette

·         Read each e-mail in Appendix D. For each e-mail:

o        Describe any content and formatting errors found.

o        Determine if the content is appropriate for a workplace setting. If so, explain why. If not, identify the errors made and rewrite the e-mail so it is appropriate.  There are four emails.  Please do not miss or skip the last one.

o        Even if you find nothing to correct in the email, please make note of it or rewrite the email the way it is so I can tell that you are saying nothing needs correcting. 

IMPORTANT NOTES: 1. All emails need to be either rewritten or told they are fine the way they are.  “This isn’t a situation I think should be handled by email” or “I would go to a supervisor with this problem” are NOT acceptable answers. 2.   Not all capitalization is bad.  Sometimes it is necessary for emphasis.  Keep that in mind while doing this assignment.
