There will security subsystem will interact with auto defense, configuration management and high level directives on security. The justification is that the operations of Bead Bar are increasing and are ambitious. Bead Bar is likely to start operations on cruiser ships and open showrooms in newer and difficult to access location. The key to the success of network for Bead Bar is to have a system that does not require too much of manual controlling of the system.
This material is taken from the website: http://www.motorola.com/ “Autonomic networking is typically defined as self-management. The term
connotes the self-regulating capability of the human autonomic nervous
system. We don’t think about pumping blood at every waking moment, yet
our circulatory system operates quite efficiently, freeing our brain for other
tasks. Similarly, autonomic networking will free end-users and administrators
from low-level, yet critical system tasks, eliminating the need for highly trained
specialists to monitor and manage their operation. Autonomic networking will
provide us with systems that are self-configuring, self-healing, self-optimizing,
and self-protecting.” http://www.motorola.com/

communication - human-to-human, human-to-cyber, business-to-business, cyber-tocyber,
etc - by empowering network elements to best fit communication intentions, to
observe and to react by self-organization to context changes without explicit user
interaction.

to be able to connect to the network there seems to be only one option. I would recommend that the
company invest in a star topology. The company also needs a network architecture to decide how the
network operates at a conceptual level. I think that the client/server architecture would be the most
beneficial for the Bead Bar. These two options I believe will be the most beneficial for the Bead Bar
and they will fit the companies needs. The star topology and client/server architecture is the best
network options for the company.
There are many different types of network topologies but out of the six available, the star
topology is the best one for the Bead Bar. This company wants a network that does not require a ton
of wires running across the walls of their office and the star topology would provide this for them.
The star topology connects all of the devices to one central hub. A hub is a hardware device that
receives and sends data to the correct places. So unlike the bus topology it would not require wires
running all across the office walls since everything is connected to one simple, central item. The
company also has a ton of potential for expanding so a topology that is difficult to exchange or add
to is not for them. “Star networks are easy to install and update because all nodes are connected
directly to the hub. When a business needs to reconfigure its network, it makes changes to the hub
instead of completely rewiring the network” (Malaga 127). This network would make it easy for the
company to add to later on as they continually expand so it would not require a lot of added cost or a
new system later on ...

Bead Bar inaugurated in 1998 by opening the first one in New Canaan, Connecticut. When Bead Bar started, customers used to come in and sit at the bar and make their own bracelets, necklace and other jewelry from materials such as beads, wires strings etc. Bead Bar has now grown and requires a computer network designed to connect their three divisions spread throughout the United States. These three divisions are studios, franchises, and Bead Bar on Board which is a portable Bead Bar designed for cruise ships.
Bead Bar has abundant location throughout the United States and a powerful networking system is to be developed for communication within each branch of the company. Bead Bar has huge database system. Database management software such as Oracle 9i should be used to manage this distributed data. A distributed database should connect to the headquarters with each branch of Bead Bar. To connect these databases, Bead Bar’s computers should be routed through a network and telecommunication system to enable it to operate at up-most capacity. The staff members of Bead Bar were most concerned about the wired network, and all the studios interconnected to each other and headquarters as an easier way to send and receive designs. This network will also let them access corporate office from anywhere by remote access solution which is quicker and cheaper as it reduces paperwork costs and speeds up request processing, and receive employee forms electronically.
