Q:
Hypothesis Testing (Explain in everyday words but also have the formal steps show with results)

I need someone to help get me started in the right direction with my hypothesis testing on the following problem definition:

Problem Definition

The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) has reported that 60% of retired persons under the age of 65 would be willing to return to work on a fulltime basis if a suitable job were available. A sample of 500 retired persons under the age of 65 revealed that 315 would return to work. By concluding the accuracy of this report a secondary study would need to be researched along with variable definition. The variables include the sample area, the type of employment available and were the samples AARP customers? Variables should be taken into consideration before a true depiction of the sampling of the AARP survey regarding those over the age of 65 who would be willing to return to work can be seen.
