Q:
After the successful opening of the new office, Jan and Kim have asked that you return to plan and to implement phase 2. You are familiar with their existing network set up. They have budgeted for a large expansion to their network. They will be purchasing three additional servers as well as 24 more workstations and 3 more printers. Prepare a diagram showing the necessary locations for wired connections throughout the office. Explain the IP addressing scheme, any additional equipment required, any necessary changes to operating systems, etc. Provide an installation guide on setting up the servers along with 32 clients. Explain what needs to be done, if anything, to the existing systems in order to integrate the existing with the new. Discuss TCP/IP services that should be considered and explain why. Use LabMentors to illustrate the server installation process, changes to the existing server and include a minimum of 8 screen shots with detailed explanations. Use static IP addresses.
