I've had people selling my stuff who have claimed to have received it from a friend. That's all well and good, but again, IF YOU DIDN'T WRITE IT, DON'T SELL IT. If I photocopied the #1 best-seller novel and sold those photocopies, then I'd be guilty of copyright infringement. What these thieves are doing is no different. I could put dozens of names here of people who have been caught selling things they haven't written, but that would be rather against what this feature was created for.

TheRealArkayn, Would appreciate if you can share on how do you track all those 'business people'- follow everyone who purchase your works, run own tutorials for plagiarism, or something else? Because as far as I see, here it works this way- protecting your rights is your own problem... Thanks, imlucky

That would be something I would be more inclined to share through the messaging system. I do not want the criminals here to understand how I know when they're stealing money from me. I would much rather get the court-awarded damages again than to see the thieves cover their tracks.

Hi Real Arkayn, this is definitely true what you are saying. I am 100% honest in submitting my tutorials and I do not want noone stealing mines to make money off it. My work is original from me doing it on my own, and I am glad they have where you can block these thieves. Thanks nrh40.

I slowly getting started on here and uploading my work from my associates degree program with UOP. I am very interested in knowing how to catch people that may do the same with my work. While you are very much a regular on here, I hope to be over the next few months but this has been a worry of mine. I have worked very hard to earn my degree and I do not want others selling my work. If they are selling your work, it means they are most likely using your original work as well. It is a shame people have no dignity to do the work themselves. Thanks in advance for any tips you may have for a person getting started on here.

Actually someone else pointed out the copyright infringement to me, but I'm not mentioning names. If criminals have no idea exactly who is watching, then it's harder to hide.

Hi. Just wanted to point out how easy it is to claim to be 100% honest. User nrh40 did so above. Then nrh40 got banned from the site for selling other people's work. Heh.
