As I mentioned in my first blog I recently started working in the adolescent psychiatric unit at our local hospital.  Well, since I've been working there I've started thinking about going to school to become an RN.  I already have my degree in Psychology, but getting my RN wouldn't take long because most of my credits will transfer!! It's still up in the air, but if I did become an RN on the psychiatric unit my salary would increase by almost half!! Sounds like a good idea to me!

Everyone seems to think that nursing is a great field to go into because it is in high demand.  I suppose it won't hurt to go for it! At least I'll always have something to fall back on if my career in Psychology doesn't go as planned. I'm going to start working on my application for nursing school today...wish me luck!
