About nyssa739: Currently I am CEA of the largest Jack in the Box franchise in the US. If you are wondering what CEA is, it is Chief Executive Administrator. I started in late 2010 after graduating from UOPX with my Associates in Business. I continued my education at UOPX and earned my Bachelors in Psychology in 2012. Being the business savey person I am, I decided to continue my education at WGU Texas, mostly to delay paying back those pesky student loans I know you all are probably very familiar with. Currently, I am working towards my MBA and am set to graduate in early to mid 2014. An MBA will afford me more knowledge in the workplace, hense a bigger pay check which we all know is the reason we go to school anyway, right?
My passion continues to be pyschology and I plan on continuing my education after my MBA. The majority of my tutorials currently posted are from my education at UOPX. I maintained a 3.8 GPA and completed my bachelors with a 3.8. All of my tutorials posted have been submitted and graded by an instructor. The majority are graded full credit. I am a bit OCD when it comes to my education and won't except anything less than the best. I am here to assist others with their educational needs. I know it can be challenging and sometimes you just need and example before you get it.
As I continue my educational journey with WGU I will be posting my graded work for others to use as a guide for their own eduational needs. WGU grades on a pass or revise/fail scale. Every assignment I post will include whether I had to make revisions to my work.
So far, I am three classes deep and have passed my first two courses with 0 revisions. If at any time I am required to make revisions, I will include that information on the tutorial.
Good luck with your educational journey! All though it can be challenging, it will all be worth it in the end. |
Wow, it seems I have been awol from posting blogs here at SOF. It has been since September 2010 that I posted anything on this blog. A lot has changed since that last post. I have successfully completed by Bachelors in Psychology at UOPX and have moved on to another university to earn my Master in Business Administation. Why an MBA you ask? It seemed logical considering my current career focuses on Business Administration. I managed to grow my entry level job with the largest Jack in the Box franchise in the US to a full on upper management position. My job has afforded me the opportunity to travel to many wonderful places, including Hawaii (twice already and again in August) as well as a few other awesome places. I also provide guidance and leadership to 15+ upper management staff employees as well as oversee Administrative Operations of 110 Jack in the Box locations in both Houston and San Antonio, Texas. A lot you might say but I man my office with two other ladies who are extremely smart and talented. An MBA was the next logical step for my current career. Switching to WGU was challenging in the beginning but three classes in and I find the challenges have become worth the rewards. My councelor has told me on several occassions that people have a difficult time getting classes completed without revising any work. I have proved that difficulty wrong because so far, two completed classes, five assignments, ZERO revisions. All passed on the first shot. How you may ask? I like to think if I continue to remind myself that I am awesome and am able to do anything I set my mind to I will do it. The same can be said for everyone else. Obviously we may need some help or a push now and then but hey, that is what Student of Fortune is for, right? Sometimes reading another's work gives you that turned on light bulb effect. Yep, you get it now. You just got to tell yourself to quit over thinking and get to it. Challenge Accepted. I will take you along on my educational...
