About subramanian: Dr. K.V. Subramanian is a graduate electrical engineer from NITK Surathkal and doctorate (Fellow) in Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He is a management and training expert with 30+years of holistic and diverse experience in maangement consulting and management education. He possesses a unique combination of engineering, consulting, training, education and e-governance experience. He can seamlessly cut across hierarchical levels as well as functional areas, and work with diverse stakeholders. He has a special interest in study and evolving strategies for large complex systems adopting unique systems approaches for problem analysis, consensus building, strategising and evolving solutions and monitoring their effective implementation. His training related experience spans training needs analysis for engineers, conducting executive training programs in an IT and management consulting organisation, engineers in water utilities, managing a post graduate management program on Infrastructure management, planning organising, coordinating and conducting large in-service personnel training programs for 1000 engineers on reforms. Currently leading (a) a world bank funded assignment on training of trainers for transformation in the irrigation sector (b) training engineers on Project Management (c) working in partnership for organisational transformation (d) training executives on Negotiation Skills (e) training on strategic planning for promoters of SMEs and (f) led a post graduate management institute offering unique PG level infrastructure management programs. He has also effectively interfaced with external entities for internship, final placement of MBA graduates as well as in organising industry training visits. As team leader, he has successfully led teams of technical experts in completing the engagements.
